Qualify Certifications
M.G.M. has been IFS certified since December 2016, attesting to our ability to provide safe products that comply with contractual specifications and legal requirements. This has allowed us to become a GDO food brand supplier in Europe and the world.
Global Gap certification ensures quality and control of products, both in the field and in the packaging warehouses. In addition, the new requirements introduce a clear interest in the verification and maintenance of product characteristics, including through the control of temperatures and storage conditions.
The BIO certification for fresh chestnuts qualifies our organic suppliers (who demonstrate compliance with the organic production method issued by the reference body).
It also ensures that M.G.M. carries out:
• Checks on receipt of organic products
• separation of the two production cycles, biological and conventional (caution and prevention to avoid contamination), also during transport.
• Analysis at Sinal laboratories (that is, they are part of the National System for the accreditation of test laboratories)
• management of non-conformities: all precautions must be taken to avoid the coexistence of organic with products treated in post-harvest or mismatch between conventional and organic products.
